@veselkanyc My grandmother was as Ukrainian as could be, from Ternopil oblast, and she called them pierogi. I think it’s an east-west thing. If you grew up in Galicia, they were pierogi. Grew up in the Russian empire, varenyky. Can’t both be correct?
