@SamStephenson12 @swhiser I use a couple of software defined receivers, a Microtelecom Perseus and an Elad FDM-S3. I record the entire AM band and when conditions are good I can get IDs from even small stations in Europe.

This also happened to my grandmother’s sister. She was Ukrainian, but her husband was Polish, and so they were forcibly resettled to western Poland. @panchromaholic I haven’t used it much, but I’m not seeing any. I would think it might have something to do with acid. If you’re using acid stop or fixer with it, maybe try something else? I stop with tap water and fix with TF-4, which is alkaline (which also makes the hypo wash out quicker)

Signed up for @TIDAL because it doesn’t seem to be possible to look at what songs are among the 80 million they have without doing that. Looked for a couple of my favorite albums. Found them, but the only action is “Shuffle”, which plays everything except that album. Yeah, no.

What makes me sad about it is that twice a year, it comes back to life during Polaroid Week, when a lot of people who otherwise don’t post there start posting, and it feels like it used to. And then the week ends and they leave and the tumbleweeds return.

@FlakPhoto Because when I go too long without doing it, I get antsy and cranky. Also, it’s a connection to my father and grandfather, who were both avid amateurs. I have cameras that used to belong to them and use them.
