@monaeltahawy We generally learn history up to WWII. To the extent that anything after that is taught, it’s covered in about three weeks at the end of senior year when nobody is paying attention. You want to learn about overthrowing governments, you do that on your own time.

Sitting in a diner. Faux News is on the TV, and they’re talking to Steve Bannon. The discussion is about the Senate investigating the impeachment, calling the whistleblower, calling Vindman, calling Schiff. Sounds like they’re pushing for the show trials @sarahkendzior warned of

@redcrew Would have to renew my passport first. My brother went to the pizzeria when he was in Naples many years ago, but they weren’t serving pizza at 3:30 in the afternoon.

@redcrew Yes, I did. And the pizzeria that claims to have invented it (or at least the Margherita pizza) is Antica Pizzeria Brandi :-) (Not related near as I can tell, but you never know….)
