Kickstarter is broken. I get e-mails when my projects post an update, but neither the app nor the web site show links to those updates when I list updates. I have to go to the project itself. And there doesn’t seem to be any way to contact them to let them know.

@Gravmadboris @moragperkins For filters, the standard is an R72. Hoya makes a reasonably priced one. One thing I find helps is to not use a camera where you view through your taking lens. My Rolleiflex is great for infrared because the lens I look through doesn’t cut off all the visible light.

@Gravmadboris @moragperkins I’ve shot infrared. HP5+ won’t work. It’s spectral sensitivity only goes up to 650 nanometers. Same with FP4+. You’ll need to get something that goes well above 720 nanometers, like Ilford SFX 200.

@Stig_Ofthedump It’s a challenging film. I had a hard time scanning it, had to adjust the black and white points and the gamma pretty severely. I was reading that low contrast developers like POTA are more suitable for document/technical films like this. Maybe next time I’ll stand dev in Rodinal

@katswansey @LoneStarBeer Honky Tonk radio stations are really a thing here in the northeast, unfortunately. Most of the stations I can think of that would play it are about 40 years in the past. Apple Music is where I get my fix, when I want to listen to something I heard on WSM or WMAQ when I was a kid

It didn’t cover the full sheet. But as a platform for hacking to work with other cameras, it’s brilliant. @katswansey Correlation doesn’t mean causation. Rich people live longer. The better booze they drink is a symptom of wealth, which is more likely a cause of longer life (saying this as I finish off a barleywine from my local craft brewery….)

@sfphotogirl Have you tried buying multiple items? I find that spreading the shipping cost across multiples usually helps. Not helpful if you’re buying directly from the artist, but if you’re buying from a store it can.

@katswansey @Kodak Don’t think a fake birthday would make a difference. They’d just use that to market stuff to me too. It’s kind of a last straw thing. “We won’t let you in unless you give us your privacy.” “Okay, I’ll stay outside.” Surveillance capitalism is a scourge on humanity.

@katswansey @Kodak Thank you for posting your photos to Twitter. I can’t see anything on Instagram any more since they insist on knowing my birthday there now. I refuse to give it to them because they’ll just use it as a marketing tool.
