It took me 12 years of research to figure out which of my GG grandfather’s parents was actually his parent, because they couldn’t both be. A couple of years later, DNA testing became widespread enough to support my conclusion on that….

@danrubin @WinnDixie Does it say which country it was made in? That’s the best way to figure out. For store brands of that period, probably Italy (Ferrania), Belgium/Germany (Agfa), or Japan (Fuji)

@msjen @danrubin Loving both of them. The Sonnar lens on the Contax is wonderful; loving the bokeh is gives wide open. And the Double-X is rich. Loving the grays.
