@katswansey Anti-Newton glass to hold the negative down. I got some with my 120 holder from Better Scanning years ago, but you can get it standalone. Holds the negative down and prevents those goofy Newton rings.

@MaureenBond @MerriMayhem This is why I don’t post there any more. I am having fun with the algorithm, though. Every time it drops a “suggested” post in my stream, I quit the app. About every third attempt, it lets me see just the people I follow until I get to the “all suggestions” section.

I get that Ukraine isn’t in NATO and NATO can’t/won’t intervene in Ukraine. But the US and UK guaranteed Ukraine’s sovereignty in 1994 as part of Ukraine giving up its nuclear weapons. Apparently our “guarantee” isn’t worth shit.

@MaureenBond They came out with updated Minis last year, but only at the low end. The high end Mini still uses an Intel chip; I wonder if they’ll even replace it, because the Mac Studio they announced today could fill that niche. Also, they said there’s only one more Mac to come, the Mac Pro.

@MaureenBond I’ve looked at the Mac Mini and may still get one, but the low end ones they have available now won’t last as long as I would like. That’s the other thing that was missing was a replacement for the high end Mini, which is still using an Intel chip.
