Note that higher numbers mean more chance of seeing the aurora. The K-index being 5 or 6 are pretty good. If it was 7 or 8, which are rare, chances you’ll see the aurora increase, especially as you get farther south. https://twitter.com/redcrew/status/1109508869141741568
